Corroded was formed by Jens Westin and Peter Sjödin. Jens is the only original member left in the band. Corroded is signed to Despotz Records since december 2016. The debut album (Eleven Shades) was released by Ninetone Records in 2009.

Corroded has performed on several music festivals in Sweden. Amongst others Sweden Rock Festival, Rock Weekend, Get Away Rock, Putte I Parken, Storsjöyran, Metaltown, Rockstad:Falun, Skogsröjet and Arvikafestivalen. Their music is played mostly on the radio station Bandi Rock. Corroded won the price for "Breakthru of the year" on Bandit Rock Awards in 2009.

Corroded made a different version of the song "Time And Again" for the TV-show "Robinson Karibien" wich was aired on Swedish TV4.
