Jon Philibert is one of the all-time leading British country music songwriters. In a long career Jon has had songs recorded by such Billboard-charting artists as Bobby Bare, Jimmy Payne, Judy Lindsey and Carmol Taylor. He also wrote "I've Been Rained On Too", which became a top ten record for Tom Jones in 1984. This subsequently remained on the Billboard country charts for a massive 22 weeks, Tom Jones' longest-ever country charting record. Jon continues to chalk up cuts and is currently working on projects with both UK and American songwriters.
