He is based in Los Angeles, California, USA. After winning the Chuck Niles Jazz Music Award in 2007, and releasing two independent CDs, he signed with Koch Records (now eOne Music) in 2008, releasing his debut album "Love For Sale" (2011).

Son of jazz artist Mel Tormé and jazz/classical pianist Janette Scott, grandson of British actress Thora Hird.
