Real name: Irving V. Dain

American record executive and sales manager.

Dain entered the record business in 1960 as a promotion man for Liberty Records. In late 1963 he moved to GNP Crescendo Records as national sales and A&R manager. He then was in charge as sales director at World-Pacific Records, where worked closely with the company’s general manager Richard Bock. In 1966 was named general manager and vice-presindent of Liberty Records. He left in 1970, subsequently becoming president of the newly-founded Im'press Records.
