Jo Jo Williams
Real name: Joseph Williams
Blues singer and guitar and bass player, born 1920 in Coahoma, Mississippi. He moved to Memphis, Tennessee, in youth, and to Chicago c. 1953.He recorded for Atomic-H in 1959, toured with Muddy Waters 1960-1962, and then settled in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1962 to work mainly outside music, but participed in local sessions with Mojo Buford in 1963-1964 and Lazy Bill Lucas in 1970.
