The Golden-Tones, a vocal group from Brooklyn, NY, consisted of Mildred Harris, Vernon Harris, Harold Holman, Melvin Johnson, Lee McCall, and Everett Winder. In 1955, they recorded two tracks for Jay-Dee Records: "Run Pretty Baby" and "The Meaning of Love," which were released in July. The following year, in 1956, they recorded "Cryin' The Blues" and "I'm Wrong" for Samson Records, both released within the same year. Unfortunately, none of their recordings gained significant traction, leading to the end of The Golden-Tones' recording career.
