The Palm Beach Band Boys

Effective period / Period of releases: 1966 - 1967

The Palm Beach Band Boys were a group of New York City studio musicians put together in 1966 by their record label, RCA Victor Records, to capitalize on the success of New Vaudeville Band's smash hit, "Winchester Cathedral".

They performed in a similar style coined "newstalgia", a updated faux 1920s/1930s sound, featuring nasal vocals, banjo, brass, electric guitar, rock drums, and bassoon.

They were only ever a studio recording group.

They released two albums before the craze died.
