Ralph Wolf

Real name: Ralph Edward Wolf

American keyboardist and songwriter

Wolf moved from Fort Wayne, Indiana, to California in 1947 as a part of a trio (accordion-guitar-organ) called "The Bachelors," who had a record deal with MGM. He recorded several albums on piano and organ, including "Simply Piano." He played often with his friend and collaborator, Stan Kann, and he worked as a pianist-conductor for Mel Tormé, Margaret Whiting, Helen O'Connell, actress Terry Moore, Marilyn Maxwell, The Hi-Lo's, and he was the original rehearsal pianist for Disney's Mickey Mouse Club. He also traveled and performed worldwide as a product-specialist for the Thomas Organ Company.
