Ed Seabough Free Music

Ed Seabough

American songwriter (mostly lyricist), poet, author and missionary.
Born 1932 in Missouri, raised in West Virginia.
Besides recordings and hymnal songs, he also wrote they lyrics for musicals.
He majored in drama and minored in sociology at Southwest Baptist College. He graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1956. He became music secretary for the Oregon-Washington Convention, where he was forced to write lyrics and music for convention songs. That lead him to career of doing more writing, especially in the field of Gospel music.
