One-off band formed by Richard Thompson, Dave Pegg and Dave Mattacks (all ex-Fairport Convention) and Ralph McTell. Existed only for a few gigs in summer 1981. The name is short for the Grazed Pontiffs, referencing the recent assassination attempt on Pope John Paul II.
