An Australian garage / punk rock band formed in Brisbane in 1979, The 31st brought together four musicians who would all go on to make a much bigger dent the the Australian rock and punk scenes of the 80s and 90s. Vocalist Ron Peno and Chris Welsh would go on to form major label international chart stars DIED PRETTY; guitarist Mick Medew would enjoy a lengthy career with THE SCREAMING TRIBESMEN, and bassist Tony Robertson would later hold down the low end in legendary bands THE NEW CHRISTS and THE HITMEN & is currently in The Naked Lunch.
The 31st 12" EP record was released in Dec. 2017 with 2 unreleased tracks. All 4 tracks mastered by Don Bartley from the original tapes, available on LCMR.
