A native of Montreal's St-Henri district (Québec, Canada), he began his career in cabarets by performing tunes from popular French song. He particularly favors the repertoire of Tino Rossi. Little by little, his repertoire is transformed and his own compositions take the lead. The sweet and tender songs he sings on stage quickly become the tunes humming by country lovers. He has his own show on CFLV Valleyfield radio station. He died in the early 2000s from cancer.
