Indelible Murtceps

Effective period / Period of releases: 1972 - 1991

Members: Ray Arnott, Mike Rudd, Bill Putt, Lee Neale, John Mills (10)

Indelible Murtceps was a side project formed by the members of Australian band Spectrum in October 1971, using the same line-up of Ray Arnott on drums, Lee Neale on electric piano, Bill Putt on bass guitar and Mike Rudd on vocals and guitar. They performed at pubs, and local dances, playing a more dance/pop-oriented repertoire and using a simpler set-up than when performing as Spectrum. By September 1972 Neale had left both bands; he was replaced by John Mills on keyboards. In 1973, Spectrum disbanded which also ended Indelible Murtceps.
