American woodwind artist, mostly with the Saxophone. He is also a professor of advanced mathematics. At the age of 42 he suffered a massive stroke, from which with adequate medical help and personal effort he is recovering.
Today, Alvin helps children with developmental disabilities and says it's the most rewarding work he's ever done. He's back to playing music and spends time encouraging other stroke survivors.
