Benny Rubin

American comedian, film actor, and screenwriter.
Born February 2, 1899 Boston, Massachusetts Died July 15, 1986 (aged 87) Los Angeles, California.
Rubin got into show business early in life and stayed in till late in life, with nearly 70 years in show business. He was known for his ability to imitate many dialects, and when singing, would often change bkac-and-forth dialects mid-song. He performed in vaudeville and made frequent guest appearances on both the radio and TV versions of The Jack Benny Program.
He tap danced in "The Delicatessen Kid" (1929), which he also wrote. In 1972, Rubin published his autobiography, "Come Backstage with Me".
