Real name: Nicolas Omar Diop

Senegalese rapper born September 19th, 1978 in Dakar, Senegal, performing with lyrics in Wolof, French and English.

Making his debut in 1993 with the rap group Kantiolis, he was discovered in 1999 by Jean-Pierre Seck, the then Chief Editor at French hip-hop magazine L'Affiche, after hearing him on a mixtape of Senegal hip-hop pioneers Positive Black Soul. He released his debut album "Black Crystal" in 2003. He has since released 8 albums, haven been nominated for 14 Senegalese Music Awards, winning 6 of them. He has collaborated with many artists including Disiz la Peste, Oxmo Puccino, HIFI, Wyclef Jean, Jerry Wonda, Daara J, and Omzo amongst others.
