VYGR (pronounced 'Voyager') is a sludge metal band from Boston, Massachusetts (USA).
Originally founded under the name "Voyager", the band released a self-titled EP in 2008, followed by a limited vinyl-only split release with Monolith (12) in early 2010.
Following two years of conflicting schedules and limited live shows, the group has re-emerged as VYGR and finished up their full length record Hypersleep in 2011.
