Considered by many an Italian artist, because of his past mainly in Italy. Despite all, he never requested Italian citizenship.

During his artistic career he has acted in almost thirty films and released more than one hundred and fifty releases (including Studio Albums, EPs and Singles).

Has taken part of ten edition of Festival di Sanremo.
