The Pattie Sisters were also known as Pattie Bersaudara. They were Nina Pattie and her younger sister Silvy Pattie. The sisters were born in Yogyakarta, Java, but their family was from Ambon. They started singing together about 1961. The duo remained popular into the 1970s. They recorded songs in the Ambonese dialect as well as standard Indonesian, Dutch and English.
Nina died in 2006.
