Pawa Up First started in 2004, first as a studio project between Serge Nakauchi Pelletier (guitars) and Mathieu Pontbriand (bass), soon joined by Sandy Belfort (keyboards) and Joseph Perrault (drums and percussions). Their music blends cleverly post-rock, jazz, electro, hip hop and cinematic music. PUF has always accompanied its performances with video projections, self-produced for most.
