Emmy and Tony Award-winning American actress and singer. Muse and collaborator with Stephen Sondheim culminating in the 2001 one-woman show Elaine Stritch at Liberty. Known in the UK for the 70's sitcom Two's Company and most recently in the US sitcom, 30 Rock, as the mother of Alex Baldwin's character Jack Donaghy for which she won an Emmy in 2007.
