Biography

Michele Pucci
At the age of 10 he began studying the cello, under the guidance of Mario Brunello. After five years he left practicing this instrument to start playing the classical guitar as a self-taught.
He then plays in various Venetian rhytm'n'blues, funky and acoustic blues groups. He graduated with honors in Geological Sciences from the University of Padua in 1995, then worked as a conscientious objector at the "Peter Pan" center for the seriously disabled in Treviso.
In the meantime, having made the decision to become a professional musician, he dedicated himself to the study of flamenco guitar, collaborating with dancers, guitarists and "cantaores" of the Italian and international flamenco scene both in concert and in stages.
He currently collaborates in particular with the ethnofolk quartet "La Frontera"; in the field of folk music, with the "Marilenghe Project" (Marisa Scuntaro, Lucia Clonfero), and with a trio of crossover guitars together with Enrico Maria Milanesi and Francesco Bertolini, as well as collaborating with various artists of the Italian acoustic music scene.
He created the incidental music for the monologue "Sons of the Same Father" by Francesco Milanese as well as having recorded 14 CDs to date with various ensembles, two of which under his own name.
He also actively dedicates himself to musical preparatory projects for children ("Mago Mù, the magician of music") and to theatrical shows for children.
As regards Flamenco, he actively collaborates with various groups in Italy and abroad, in particular with the "Mellano Compadres" company, as well as performing solo concerts.
