Real name: Lynnelle Moran, Chris Hale, Lachlan Carrick, Dan West, Roy John

Band lineup: Lynnelle Moran (Vocals & Accordian), Chris Hale (Acoustic Bass, Electric Bass), Lachlan Carrick (Programming, Rhodes, Pianette, Synthesiser), Dan West (Programming, Guitars, Effects, Synthesiser), Roy John (Programming, Dubs)
Conceived in 1999 in Fitzroy, Melbourne, Australia. They have moved slowly away from a more traditional "band" format towards more electronic influences in their songwriting. Velure's sound blends trip hop, dub and drum and bass flavours through the use of synthetic and organic elements.
They've been recognized with awards, including: Australian Fringe Festival award for electronic composition in 2003 and a touring grant from the Australian Council for the Arts for their tour of the East Coast September and October 2004.
October 2005 saw the release of their debut album, Care For Fading Embers
