The Young Republicans was a punk hardcore band from Westchester, NY states, and were John Porcell's first band, way back when he was 15. They lived only one year, during 1983, and they played a handful of shows and went disband once he moved onto playing guitar in Violent Children. They recorded a demo that everyone thought was lost , but we can finally hear it in all its hardcore glory on a seven inch called 'Sabotage Your Cookout'.
