Cassette Culture is the side project of Tom Lowe, who is the guitarist of the Leicestershire based band, Kyte. The project started in 2009 when some of the Kyte songs started to venture closer towards a more electronic sound. At first Tom simply worked on a remixing tracks from various bands he & the other Kyte members had been in contact with, but later Mark Adams was added as a vocalist, & with Scott Hislop on drums they began recording their 1st album.
