Real name: Куценко Олег Сергеевич = Kutsenko Oleg Sergeevich

Oleg Kutsenko (born November 12, 1945, Omsk, USSR) - alto saxophonist, flutist, arranger, conductor, composer, head of a big band and several ensembles. One of the prominent representatives of modal jazz in Leningrad in the 70s. In 1964 he graduated from the Tambov School of Music (accordion class), in 1969 from the conducting department of the Leningrad Conservatory. He mastered the saxophone independently, in 1966 he performed at the 2nd Leningrad Jazz Festival with a student quintet. Since 1967 - saxophonist and conductor (since 1970) of the Leningrad Music Hall Orchestra. Within the symphonic jazz line-up, he organized a big band and several small ensembles, with which he performed at national festivals. Author of soundtracks for films, wrote over 25 songs. In the 90s, he mainly worked abroad.
