Philadelphia was formed out of the ashes of the band Survivor (4) by members Brian Martini and Brian Clark (8) , which was a 'general market' rock band. After breaking up in 1981, the members found Christianity through independent experiences.[2] They reunited in 1982 as a Christian band and produced their first LP, Tell The Truth in 1984.
