R&B singer-songwriter and pianist, born in 1926 in Birmingham, Alabama.Valentine sang lead vocals for The Three Blazers in the late 1940's and recorded with other groups for various labels into the mid 1950's.
He also recorded solo for Mercury in 1949-1950, for Decca in 1950-1951, for Par in 1953, for Capitol in 1955, for King/Federal in 1956-1958, and for Dorset in 1961.
