Swedish fiddler from Eklunda in Viksta parish, born 4 November 1897 in Viksta parish, Uppsala county, died 7 June 1983He started playing at the age of ten on a violin built from a cigar box. Viksta-Lasse was a pupil of Hjort-Anders Olsson who taught him songs from Bingsjö. Viksta-Lasse's repertoire, however, consisted for the most part of Uppland songs, including via the fiddlers Gås-Anders (Anders Ljungqvist) and August Bohlin. He also composed his own songs, including three Eklunda polskor. Hjort Anders and Viksta-Lasse played and toured together for many years.
