Tim McCabe
Real name: James Timothy McCabe

American music producer, songwriter, vocalist and guitarist. President of the Atlanta Chapter of the Recording Academy.McCabe started his career in Nashville as a teenager with his first combo, "The Impacts," and became a featured vocalist for the Dick Cotton Combo.
After attending Vanderbilt University, he moved to Atlanta to pursue a medical degree.
While attending college in Athens, McCabe recorded a commercial that lead to a storied career as a jingle singer. He would go on to write, sing or perform on over 800 commercials including "It's The Real Thing" for Coca-Cola, "Kentucky Fried Chicken Tonight," Sears, Stone Mountain Park, Delta Airlines, The Atlanta Braves, Chevrolet and many others.
As a songwriter, he's written about 150 songs with about half of them being published. He's produced or recorded 15 albums/CDs over the years, many released on his own label, Planet Earth.
McCabe has named and started various labels including Atlantis, Blue Orpheus, Star Song, Lovett, Granny and Planet Earth.
