The duet of Moscow artists Rosalia Simanovskaya and Miron Raskatov enjoyed fame in the 1920s–1950s. The musicians' repertoire included arrangements of popular classics, songs, and dance music.
In the 1950s, they recorded a lot on records - as a duet and accompanied by a pop orchestra.
During the war, they played as part of propaganda brigades on different fronts - from the Northern to the Southern. On such trips they did without a marimbaphone: Miron Raskatov played the ukulele, Rosalia Simanovskaya played the accordion.
