Jimmy Smith
Real name: Jimmy Smith
British organist. Got his break as a young 12 year old on Hughie Green's Opportunity Knocks Radio Luxembourg talent show, and later (1972) 9 times winner in Opportunity Knocks Thames TV show with his son—6 year old Steven. Started his label and studio Sounds Ultimate in 1983.Pseudonyms for Ballroom Dancing LPs: Bobby Cole, Ray Summer, Timothy Love and more.
He has appeared on Television in Australia and Japan and concert tours in France & Germany. He regularly worked for major Organ and Piano manufacturers demonstrating their products at Music Trade Fairs and Concert Tours around the world. Jimmy still enjoys 'plays' on many major radio & internet programmes. He lives now in the South of England and still records for his Sounds Superb label and the Jimmy Smith Studios & Whitworth Productions.
