Ancient Necropsy is one of the pioneers of the Technical Brutal Death Metal bands of Colombia and Latam.
This project acts like a one-man band, but in special cases it performs as a whole band with session musicians.

This band was born in 1998 under the name "Asgard."
The first tracks composed were "Spirits of Hate," "Abducted by a Killer Martian" and "Ancient Necropsy.

The lyrics are inspired by stories of ancient times; human behavior, brutality, abuse of power, mysticism, occult sciences, mystery; and science fiction.
