Yannis Voyatzis was a Greek easy listening singer mainly & composer. He also made a name for himself as an actor. Born 20 December (or 25 August) 1934 in Athens, Greece - Died 15 March 2023 in Athens, Greece.From 1958 to 1962 he served as the official singer of the palaces. He was awarded twice with the first prize at the Song Festival of Thessaloniki: on 13 September 1963 (2nd Easy Listening Song Festival) with the song "Πέταξε Ένα Πουλί" and on 11 September 1970 (9th Easy Listening Song Festival) with the song "Αδέλφια Μου Αλήτες Πουλιά". In the 1960s, he appeared in many films, mainly as a singer, as well as in plays. A dedicated supporter of Panathinaikos, he sang the team's anthem.
He was cousin of Γιάννης Βογιατζής.
