Nancy Ryan

Canadian country singer / songwriter from Toronto.
She received vocal training from Leslie Bell of the Leslie Bell Singers and sang for two years on a country music television show in Sudbury, Ontario. Ryan has worked solo, playing piano and singing in cocktail lounges, as well as playing piano in a jazz group and singing in rock 'n' roll bands.
She has been Waterloo Records first commercial artist.
She has been touring with a three-piece band, consisting of Dunston Morey on lead guitar, Stu Franck on electric bass and Tom Graham on drums.
In 1964, a record producer took her over to Nashville for her first recording session. In the late 1960's, she recorded for Gray Buck's Arpeggio label, and between 1973 and '75, she was a regular on Ray Griff's "Goodtyme Country" television show.
