John Cousins
John Cousins (1943, Wellington, New Zealand) is a composer trained and graduating with an honours degree in music in 1965 from the University of Canterbury in Christchurch. In 1967, he was appointed to the staff of the university’s School of Music, subsequently working there as a teacher until 2004.
