Real name: Alejo Veliz Pacheco

Leo Pacheco, venezuelan salsa's singer (b. Las González, Miranda, May 17, 1948 - d. Ocumare del Tuy, Miranda, April 20, 2005). In 1973 Pacheco is hired as vocal leader of La Renovación Orchestra, where he recorded five LP. After that, Pacheco toured with Nelson Henríquez Y Su Combo and after that he was recruited by Oscar D'León as second vocal and coro for Oscar D'Leon Y Su Salsa Mayor.
Some differences emerged between Oscar D'León and the rest of his band, and the musiscians left Oscar D'León, and Leo Pacheco along side Alfredo Padilla founded Nuestra Orquesta La Salsa Mayor.
