Australian pianist and composer (b. Mudgee NSW 1882 – d. 1974).Child prodigy by the age of 4 when family moved to Melbourne. Performing in public by age 10 and began touring in 1905. Went to study in Europe and eventually settled in London. Toured with Dame Nellie Melba and gave many charity performances during WWI. Recorded extensively in London 1915-1927 including many violin sonatas with Marjorie Hayward. Later returned to Australia and also performed in the U.S.
