(March 23, 1913, Russian Empire - January 21, 1986, Paris) - Russian singer of Gypsy origin, leader of the Russian emigration.After the 1917 revolution, the family moved to Vladivostok, and at the end of the Civil War emigrated to Harbin. Dimitrievich performed in many countries, including Japan, the Philippines, India, Greece, Morocco. In 1924-1925 the Dimitrievich camp moved to Spain, where they spent several years and improved their financial situation. In 1929 they moved to France - first to Marseille, then to Paris. In Paris, they performed at the Hermitage restaurant, where Vertinsky sang by that time. Alyosha Dimitrievich performed a lot while a dancer and acrobat.
On the eve of World War II, the Dimitrievichs went further into exile, this time to South America. The Dimitrievich Ensemble has performed in Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia and Paraguay.
In the 1970s, he met in Paris with Владимир Высоцкий. They repeatedly sang songs and romances together, and were even going to record a joint disc, but the death of Vysotsky prevented the implementation of this project. In 1984 he toured the United States, performing in 12 cities.
