Khazad Doom

Members: Steve Hilkin, Tom Sievers, Jack Eadon, Al Yates
US prog/psych band from Morton Grove, IL, active from 1964 to 1972. At the beginning under the name "Laymen" they played a music strongly influenced from the Beatles but over the time they evolved into a sound increasingly personal attributable to the emerging progressive trend. After changing the name to Khazad Doom and extensive tours in and around Chicago the group recorded and released the album "Level 6 1/2" in late 1970. Pressed in only 180 copies the album became a truly damnation for record collectors. Disbanded in March 1972.Jack Eadon - Guitar, Vocals
