Folk band from Bilbao, Basque Country, Spain, founded in 1932 as "Los Chimbos" by Zenón Garamendi, Pablo Montoya, Leo Fernández and Arturo Medina.Later they changed the name to "Los Bocheros" with Zenón Garamendi, Jesús Arias Andollo, Francisco Iturralde, Tejada and Utrilla.
They were known -among other styles- for the "bilbainadas", folk Bilbao songs.
Los Bocheros toured through South America where they acquired popularity, and performed in "Fiesta Brava", a film by American director Richard Thorpe.
The group was active until the early 60s.
