Formed in 1999, Arkam Asylum have built a fierce reputation across the UK and Europe playing filthy cut-up cyberpunk with the likes of The Chaos Engine, Icon of Coil, Sheep on Drugs, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Gary Numan, and VNV Nation. Arkam Asylum are: Miette's Brainchild (aka Angel) on guitar apocalypse, Bug on electronica, and Amon Zero on word virus.

AA released their debut album, "Learn to love your cancer" in 2001, through independent label Wasp Factory Recordings, and are featured on compilations such as Wasp Factory's "Working with Children & Animals volume 1" and "Moonlight Corporation v1.0" from US label Sector19. The second album, "Running with Scissors", is due for release August 2003 on Wasp Factory.
