Real name: Patrick Michael Zill

Patrick Michael Zill (April 27, 1925 / Youngstown, OH - July 18, 2015 / Snellville, GA). A former Marine, he was initially a pro boxer. After he retired from boxing, he opened the Boathouse Lounge, in Whitehall, Ohio. A singing bartender, he cut a version of “Pick Me Up On Your Way Down” in Nashville that hit the country and pop charts. In later years he was trainer and manager for Pro Fighter Jeff Jordan and promoted boxing events but did continue to sing and record.
