1960s Bristol, UK band. Members were Mike Wallace (organ and vocals), Derek Martin (guitar), Ron Chappell (bass) and John Watson (drums).
Touring West Germany in 1965, they met Swedish band The Caretakers, who invited them to their home town Jönköping. While there, The Retreads broke up, with Mike Wallace joining The Caretakers, while Derek Martin, having returned to the UK, joined them a year later, in 1966. Drummer John Watson joined another Jönköping group, The Hoods.
