Danish folk group formed 1974 in Nordby, FanøSand På Gulvet ["Sand On The Floor"] played a mixture of the local dance music (sønderhoning, fannik, rask sønderhoning), local songs, a repertoire of common Danish/Scandinavian "spillemandsmusik" (fiddler music) - and some of their own compositions. To a broader audience they are probably best known for the song Imellem Esbjerg Og Fanø.
