Charles O'Neill
Priest, and author of the "Foggy Dew", born 20 September 1887 in Portglenone, Northern Ireland; died on 8 May 1963 in Newcastle, Northern Ireland. He wrote the song in commemoration of the Easter Rebellion of 1916.
