Jelich (Jelić, Jelicich, Jeličić), Vincenz (Vincentius, Vincenzo, Vinko)
* 1596 Fiume (Rijeka/HR), † 1636? Zabern (Saverne/F)?. Composer. Educated in Graz (Gymnasium Ferdinandeum, Jesuit University; music with M. Ferrabosco in the court orchestra of Archduke Ferdinand [Ferdinand II], later with R. Ballestra). From 1615 active as instrumentalist in the Graz court chapel, after 1618 in the service of Ferdinand's brother Leopold in Zabern, where he was simultaneously active as a practical musician (tenorist, instrumentalist) as well as vicar and canon at St. Mary's Church. J. disappeared in 1636 in the turmoil of the Thirty Years' War.
