French singer, songwriter, and guitarist born in Lyon February 14, 1938, and died in Le Mans December 3, 2022. Moved to Montréal, Canada, in January 1966 and within a few months signed with Capitol Records Ltd. and released his first album in June of that year. His daughter, Ludmila Zelkine, was the first woman in the Quebec hip-hop scene to leave her mark in the early 1980s as a rap singer under the name "Blondie B" with "Teddy Bear", born Yanick Toussaint.
