She is perhaps most famous as one half of the John & Beverley Martyn duo, who released 2 albums in February 1970 and November 1970. They were a couple at the time; they divorced in 1980 and she wouldn't release albums until 1998 and 2014 (both as Beverley Martyn). Kutner had started out as a member of The Levee Breakers who released 1 single in 1965, then released 2 singles as Beverley in 1966 and 1967. More recordings from that era have resurfaced since.
