US psychedelic folk rock band, formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1967. Named after the American supernatural fiction writer H.P. Lovecraft.

Released two albums for Philips before disbanding in 1969. Shortened their name to Lovecraft (1969-1971) releasing one album on Reprise Records, and later regrouping as Love Craft (1975-1976).
